A supercar accident in Italy involving a famous billionaire India couple turned fatal when a Ferrari and a Lamborghini collided with a camper van.

The Lamborghini occupants, from India, were unharmed and seen signaling their well-being. The car incident involved Indian actress Gayatri Joshi and her husband, Vikas Oberoi. The couple was on vacation in Sardinia in Italy when the accident took place. The actress was reported as confirming that, having survived the deadly crash, she and her husband are doing fine. Joshi starred in Ashutosh Gowariker’s 2004 movie Swades, which was about an NRI NASA engineer visiting India and rediscovering his roots. In 2005, she tied the knot with Mumbai-based businessman Vikas Oberoi.
The incident occurred during the Sardinia Supercar Tour, which features a luxury car parade from Teulada to Olbia. Two tourists lost their lives in the crash when one of the cars overturned on a rural road in Sardinia.
Video footage from October 2nd shows a blue Lamborghini trying to pass a white camper van by crossing into the oncoming lane. Subsequently, a red Ferrari accelerated alongside the Lamborghini. This led to a collision that propelled both supercars in different directions towards the camper van. This resulted in an overturn on a rural road in Sardinia, and several automobiles crashed. The Ferrari caught fire, killing the passengers, Melissa Krautli, 63, and Markus Krautli, 67. The couple were from Switzerland.
Local authorities have seized the wreckage of all three vehicles as they investigate the incident.
