The performance of Rajasthani Folk Dance Group led by renowned artist Babu Khan was organised recently in Vilnius. The occasion was inauguration of the celebration of 2025-26 as Year of people to people connections between India and Lithuania, Embassy of India in Lithuania organised this Rajasthan Fold Dance show while embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of India, People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Nepal, and DSR of Sri Lanka organised contemporary art show in New Delhi

This year marks 130 years since the first Indian- Dr Jivanji Jamshedji Modi visited Lithuania(Kaunas, 1895) and 400 years since the first known Lithuanian, Andrius Rudamina arrived in India(Goa, 1625).
