Qatar Airways has introduced an exclusive Business Class menu designed in collaboration with two-Michelin-star Indian chef Garima Arora, bringing a modern, Ayurvedic-inspired culinary experience to passengers travelling from Doha to India.
The menu, officially launched on November 15, features a fully vegetarian selection created by Chef Arora and will be refreshed every quarter. The airline plans to roll out the menu on select Doha–United States routes in the next phase.
Chef Garima Arora, founder of the Bangkok-based two-Michelin-star restaurant Gaa, is known for her contemporary interpretations of Indian cuisine. She became the first Indian woman to earn a Michelin star in 2018 and, with Gaa’s second star in 2023, the first female Indian chef to lead a two-star kitchen.
Qatar Airways said the partnership reinforces its commitment to enhancing the Business Class dining experience with innovative, high-quality offerings.
“At Qatar Airways, we continue to set new benchmarks in luxury travel,” said Xia Cai, Senior Vice President of Product Development & Design. “Our collaboration with Chef Garima Arora reflects our focus on culinary excellence and creating memorable inflight experiences.”
Chef Arora said the menu was crafted to bring comfort and sophistication to inflight dining.
“This partnership is about reimagining how Indian food can be enjoyed at 30,000 feet,” she said. “The dishes draw from India’s rich culinary traditions while aligning with the elegance of premium travel.”
The debut menu includes:
Appetiser
• Chaat — berry sorbet, dal dumplings, pomegranate drizzle and sweet yoghurt
Main Course
• My Grandmother’s Millet Khichdi — an Ayurvedic Sattvik preparation served with homemade pickles, condiments and warm shorba
Dessert
• Masala Chai Mousse — tea-infused mousse with dipped Parle-G and raspberries filled with candied ginger
Qatar Airways said the collaboration is part of its broader strategy to elevate its premium culinary offerings across key international routes.
