Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the much-awaited Aunta–Simaria project in Gaya, Bihar to the nation on 22nd August, 2025. A key highlight of the project is the 1.865 km long bridge over the river Ganga, which is expected to significantly improve connectivity and ease traffic in the region.
The bridge, part of a larger infrastructure push, will not only strengthen road networks between northern and southern Bihar but also reduce travel time for commuters and transporters. Officials have highlighted that the project is designed to boost regional trade, facilitate faster movement of goods, and improve access for local communities.
The inauguration marks another milestone in the government’s focus on building modern infrastructure across the country, with the new Ganga bridge symbolizing progress, development, and enhanced connectivity for millions.
