Adding to the long list of Indian-origin CEOs of top tech firms in the U.S is Sabih Khan born in Uttar Pradesh, India in 1966. Indian Origin Sabih Khan is soon to take over the role of tech giant Apple. Khan had moved to Singapore for educational purposes and is currently working as the Senior Vice President of Operations at Apple Inc.
He has been working with Apple since 1995 and is one of the longest-running executives at the company.
He is known for his part in transforming Apple’s global supply chain operations and launching
Apple’s innovative products across global markets. As per sources, Sabih is going to be succeeding Jeff Williams as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) by the end of this month.
Jeff William has been working for Apple since 30+ years and has been COO since 2015. He is now set
to retire with Sabih Khan as his successor. Sabih has been in a leadership position for a long time and
has proven his expertise in product delivery and sustainability. Making him the perfect choice for the
next COO.
This marks a major milestone as Indian born people continue to climb the corporate ladder,
becoming tech leaders in the global technological ecosystem.
