Manika Vishwakarma from Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, has been crowned Miss Universe India 2025 at a grand finale held in Jaipur on August 18. She received the title from outgoing queen Rhea Singha and will represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand this November.
A final-year student of Political Science and Economics, Manika balances academics with creative pursuits as a trained classical dancer and visual artist. She’s also the founder of Neuronova, an initiative focused on promoting awareness around neurodivergence—particularly ADHD—as a form of cognitive strength.
At the national finals, Manika stood out among 48 contestants with her poise, articulate answers, and stage presence. Tanya Sharma (Uttar Pradesh) was named first runner-up, followed by Mehak Dhingra (Haryana) and Amishi Kaushik taking the second and third runner-up titles, respectively.
Judged by a panel featuring glamor industry figures including Urvashi Rautela and Ashley Rebello, the event celebrated talent, confidence, and diversity. Manika’s journey from Rajasthan to the national crown is now set to continue on the global stage in Thailand
