There seems to be no end to the assault on Indian authorities by foreign entities that support Khalistan. They have struck Indian diplomats stationed in Canada once more. Tensions between the two nations are still high over the delicate issue since extremist Sikhs have increased their attacks on Indian officials who are in the West.

On November 12, Indian consulate representatives in Vancouver erected a camp and gave life certificates to the resident Indian retirees. In order to provide community members with life certificates—a need for receiving an ongoing pension from the Indian government—the High Commission event was planned with the assistance of the gurdwara in the area.

The Khalistani separatists besieged the location while this was going on. They also made a threat to stage further protests along these lines in the future. Two camps were housed in a temple, although the camp at the Khalsa Dewan Society Gurdwara in Abbotsford, British Columbia, was organised by Indian officials. A Sikh family was allegedly attacked during the Indian High Commission event hosted by the Vancouver Consulate General in Abbotsford by members of the outlawed pro-Khalistani group Sikhs For Justice (SF). The Sikh family was reportedly physically assaulted when they tried to remove an Indian flag from the ground that was supposedly being disparaged by members of the Sikh Federation [SF], which is headed by Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a designated terrorist.

Reports claim that the family, including a young couple, their child, and an elderly father who is a retired Indian official, was “attacked because they attempted to pick up an Indian flag from the ground, which was being disrespected by these referendum goons”.

Reacting sharply to the incident, US-based Sikh leader Sukhi Chahal said on X: “This distressing incident serves as a stark reminder to the mainstream silent Sikh community that these self-proclaimed Khalistanis believe they have the liberty to abuse and threaten anyone under the guise of free speech and freedom of expression.”

I am deeply disturbed to share an unfortunate incident that occurred at Gurudwara "Khalsa Diwan Society" in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, yesterday on Diwali day involving the reprehensible actions of so called Fake Khalistani Gurpatwant Pannu's goons, the Gunda Dal of SFJ. The Khalistani militants gathered outside and forced the officials to be evacuated under police protection. The Indian government has pressed Canada on this matter, demanding that it forbid any members of the Khalistani movement from requesting refuge on Canadian territory and has been promised total protection for Indian personnel.

The event has raised serious questions over the security and safety of Native Americans in Canada. Hardeep Singh Nijjar, a terrorist from Khalistani, died a few months ago in Canada. Unknown shooters shot and murdered him. Since his passing, Khalistanis have been furious and have held the Indian government accountable.
