India’s two-wheeler major Bajaj Auto that has presence in global markets has appointed Shakti Upadhyay as Vice President – Brands, where he will lead the company’s Sports Motorcycle category, including iconic models such as Pulsar and Dominar.
Upadhyay previously served as Senior General Manager and Head of Marketing & PR at Kia India. Announcing his new role, he said:

He emphasized that his focus will be on strengthening brand love, driving Bajaj Auto’s global ambitions, and celebrating the spirit of riders everywhere.

Upadhyay’s career began at Enterprise Nexus Communications as an advertising specialist, followed by stints at Hyundai Motor India as Deputy Manager – Marketing and Samsung Electronics, where he rose to Head of Marketing Communications. At Samsung, he played a key role in boosting consumer demand for the brand’s durables through impactful communication strategies and data-driven insights.
