India and the US will meet in New Delhi on November 9–10, in the midst of the present worldwide unrest. According to government sources, US Secretaries of State Antony Blinken and Lloyd J. Austin will meet with Defence Minister Rainath Singh and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar in the nation’s capital.
The leaders are anticipated to talk about regional and international security challenges at the conference, especially the evolving Middle East scenario as a result of the Israel-Hamas conflict. A diplomatic summit known as the 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue has been held annually since 2018 between the Secretaries of State and Defence of the United States and India’s Minister of External Affairs or Foreign Minister to discuss and work on shared concerns.
This will be the fifth edition of the parley between India and the US to further enhance their strategic alliances. It is also anticipated that the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine in Europe and its effects on the area will be covered.
