India is set to position itself as a major global hub for finished plastic products as the country prepares to host PlastiWorld 2026, its largest international trade event dedicated exclusively to plastic finished goods. The event will be held from March 23–25, 2026, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.
Organised by the All India Plastics Manufacturers Association (AIPMA) and supported by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, PlastiWorld 2026 aims to spotlight India’s expanding capabilities in high-quality plastic manufacturing.
The exhibition will bring together the global plastics ecosystem under one roof, featuring a wide spectrum of finished goods including houseware, kitchenware, tableware, toys, packaging materials, stationery, sports and leisure products, and gifting items. According to organisers, this range reflects India’s growing manufacturing depth, design agility and adherence to international quality standards.
With participation expected from export-ready Indian MSMEs and verified overseas buyers invited by AIPMA, the event is projected to facilitate direct B2B engagement and long-term sourcing partnerships. Industry experts say the timing is significant as global importers increasingly seek reliable suppliers who offer quality, compliance, and innovation—areas where Indian manufacturers are rapidly advancing.
As government-led export promotion initiatives continue to strengthen the sector, PlastiWorld 2026 is being viewed as a strategic platform to elevate India’s global standing in finished plastics.
