The NLHortiRoad2India initiative has unveiled an actionable roadmap to accelerate the transformation of Indian agriculture through sustainable, technology-driven Indo-Dutch collaborations. The announcement, made at a landmark press conference in New Delhi, marks a major milestone in the three-year public-private partnership between the Government of the Netherlands and leading Dutch innovators in greenhouse horticulture technology.
As part of the visit, the delegation also held productive engagements with regional stakeholders and media representatives in Bengaluru and Chandigarh. These interactions aimed to deepen cooperation and identify region-specific solutions to enhance productivity, resource efficiency, and sustainability across India’s horticultural value chain.
The initiative reinforces the Netherlands’ commitment to supporting India’s agricultural modernization, emphasizing innovation-led growth, climate-resilient farming practices, and knowledge exchange to empower farmers and agri-entrepreneurs.
