Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed from Ghana’s capital city of Accra after concluding the first leg of his five-nation tour on Thursday. The next destination of tavel is Trinidad & Tobago for PM Modi which is the second leg of his tour on an official visit from July 3 to July 4.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the Parliament in Ghana and during the historic speech which he said that over the past decade, India has seen a major transformation across the spectrum. “On the foundations of stable polity and good governance, the country will soon be the world’s third-largest economy,” PM Modi added
PM Modi further stated that India’s demography is paying its dividend. The prime minister also spoke about the national honour which was bestowed upon him, dedicating it to ‘enduring friendship and shared values that bind the two countries.
With this PM Modi finished his visit to the western African nation.

Ghana has given the highest civilian award, the Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana, from President John Mahama to PM Modi for the development initiatives undertaken by him in the country. Indians called it a special moment as the PM Modi received the honour in the country which is thousands of miles away from their homeland.
