India’s Agra-born adventurer Arvinder “Arvi” Singh Bahal, now a U.S. citizen and seasoned traveler, soared into space on August 3, 2025, aboard Blue Origin’s NS‑34 mission from West Texas. The 80-year-old real estate investor has visited all 196 countries, flown over Mount Everest, and skydived near the Pyramids of Giza, making this suborbital flight a crowning achievement in his lifelong pursuit of exploration.
Joining him on the 10–12-minute journey beyond the Kármán line were five global crew members, including cryptocurrency entrepreneur Justin Sun, meteorologist Deborah Martorell, and philanthropist Lionel Pitchford. This mission marked Blue Origin’s 14th crewed flight and the 34th overall under its New Shepard programme.
A licensed pilot who owns a helicopter and fixed-wing endorsement, Bahal embodies global ambition. His spaceflight symbolizes the belief that age is no barrier to achieving extraordinary dreams. The mission also highlighted the growing presence of Indian-origin individuals in private space exploration.
