UAE-based real estate and business conglomerate DAMAC Group has announced the launch of its new global services arm, DAMAC Shared Services India (DSSI), marking a major expansion of the company’s international operational footprint. The capability centres, located in Noida and Pune, are expected to play a critical role in supporting the Group’s global functions across technology, finance, operations, HR, digital, and customer experience.
The newly launched centres will function as innovation-driven hubs aimed at streamlining processes, enhancing digital adoption, and boosting efficiencies across DAMAC’s worldwide operations. A multi-phased hiring plan has already been initiated, with the Noida office projected to employ over 250 people, while the Pune centre is expected to onboard more than 100 professionals by 2026.
Announcing the expansion, Hussain Sajwani, Founder of DAMAC Group, said the establishment of DSSI marks “a new chapter” in the company’s global growth strategy. “India’s talent ecosystem and technology readiness make it a strategic choice for our shared-services centre. We are committed to building high-performing teams by 2026 to support DAMAC’s global ambitions,” he said.
The move comes at a time when India has emerged as one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing hubs for Global Capability Centres (GCCs). Industry estimates suggest the country hosts more than 1,700 GCCs, a number expected to rise to over 2,400 by 2030, driven by increased adoption of digital transformation initiatives across global enterprises.
DSSI will contribute to DAMAC’s expansion by focusing on three pillars—talent, opportunity, and collaboration. The centres aim to offer Indian professionals exposure to international projects while ensuring seamless coordination between operations in India, the UAE, and the Group’s wider global network.

India’s rapidly growing expertise in artificial intelligence and digital services further reinforces the strategic timing of the launch. Industry reports indicate the country’s AI talent pool could more than double—from around 600,000 currently to 1.25 million by 2027, with the sector expected to grow at an annual rate of 25–35 percent.
Founded in 1982, DAMAC Group has diversified from its origins in catering and logistics to include real estate development, data centres, retail, hospitality, and capital markets. The Group today has a presence across Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.
The establishment of DSSI is expected to bolster DAMAC’s operational capabilities and help support its next phase of global expansion.
