PM Modi has chosen Russia to be the first country after getting elected as the Prime Minister of India for the third time. The growing importance of Russia for India has made Indians happy in the country, like Mr Sammy Manoj Kotwani who wears many hats. He is the president of The Indian National Culture Center SITA and also the president of Indian Business Alliance.

I am sure the India, Russia ties will hit greater heights after this”, adds Kotwani who is a renowned businessman and renowned and successful Indian in the influential circles of Russia.
Interestingly Kotwani is also representing Indians in Russia who have sought a Hindu Temple that will serve as a religious center, a community, and a hub for Hindus in Russia.
Kotwani also believes that temple will not only enrich the cultural landscape of Moscow but also serve as a bridge of friendship between Russia and India.
Hinduism, the third-largest religion in the world, has seen gradual growth in Russia, a country traditionally known for its Eastern Orthodox Church. Despite a strong Christian population, Hindu temples and community groups have started to appear in Russia. This is a sign of Russia’s evolving religious scene and growing diversity. Hindu cultural centers are important as they represent a safe space for the community. Hindu associations in Russia don’t just serve as a religious group, but also as a hub for community-building activities.
